Dear Sir or Madam,

For decades, the annual conference in Graz has provided the international pulp and paper industry with a proven platform for professional exchange and personal interaction across the entire value chain. We are delighted that so many interested participants joined us for the PAPER BIOECONOMY CONFERENCE (PBC) in May 2026, allowing us to look back on a highly successful event. We would like to thank all participants, speakers, partners and exhibitors for their valuable contributions.

Once again, the PBC featured a high-quality conference programme, an integrated tradeshow, and numerous opportunities for dialogue. Particular emphasis was placed on the central theme “Circular by design. Competitive by nature. Today’s innovations for tomorrow.” We were pleased to welcome renowned speakers who provided inspiring perspectives and valuable insights on this topic. Members of the Women4PaperIndustry initiative also came together once again to foster professional development, strengthen connections, thus underlining the industry's commitment to diversity.

As organisers, our ongoing objective remains to create a platform for forward-looking ideas and sustainable impulses for the industry. We are confident that we will continue to achieve this at the next conference and would kindly ask you to already reserve 12/13 May 2027 for our next meeting in Graz.

An important extension of the conference was an interesting tradeshow for the sector pulp / paper / biorefinery which was perfectly integrated into the congress.

Early bird participants were welcome to join us for a get-together on the evening before the conference – a wonderful opportunity to meet and greet new and old friends in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

We let the first congress day end in good company and an impressive setting: The 17th century “OLD UNIVERSITY” is a gem in the historical heart of Graz.

We would like to thank our  partners  very much for their support!
